Hannele Luhtasela Photography

The first time I photographed a wedding was in 2012. It was a nerve-wracking experience, but also exciting, fun and immensely pleasing — I had discovered the joy of capturing one of the most beautiful days in the lives of love-struck humans. Since that spirited first step into the world of wedding photography, I have photographed events of different sizes and traditions, in different countries and seasons.

At the moment, I live in Helsinki, Finland. When I'm not photographing weddings or other events, I'm probably taking photos of the natural world, learning and teaching about the natural world, learning a new language, playing guitar, travelling, running, or making tea.
